TMC
A fast, private mail terminal for Linux. All your mailboxes in one place, with an address book and a calendar. It runs entirely on your own computer, and your mail never passes through our servers.
Everything a mail client should do
All your accounts
Any number of IMAP/SMTP mailboxes with a unified inbox. Gmail and Google Workspace sign in with one click. Other providers work with their usual login.
Reading & writing
Search, flags, archive, move, drafts, replies and forwards with attachments, and mailto: links. Offline reading comes from a local cache.
Unsubscribe
Leave mailing lists with one click, using the standard one-click method, an unsubscribe mail, or the sender's page after you confirm.
Directory
An address book with completion while you type. It collects the people you write to, and imports and exports vCards.
Schedule
Calendars with repeating events and reminders. Invitations from mail are added with one click, and .ics files import and export.
AI agents, on your terms
An optional Model Context Protocol interface. You decide, per mailbox and per calendar, what an agent may read or do. Everything is off by default.
Your mail stays on your machine
No servers in between
TMC talks directly to your mail provider. When you sign in with Google, the authorization goes straight from Google to TMC on your computer. This website never receives it.
Keys in your keyring
Passwords and sign-in tokens are kept in your desktop's keyring. Nothing is stored in the cloud.
No tracking
Remote images and tracking pixels are never loaded. TMC has no telemetry, no analytics and no ads, and this site uses no third-party resources.
The details, including how TMC uses data from Google accounts, are in the privacy policy.
